Which shape has 4 EQUAL sides AND 4 RIGHT angles?

Which shape is the same as a square, just turned (rotated)?

  • A tilted square — same 4 sides, same 4 right angles.
  • A rhombus — 4 equal sides but no right angles.
  • A rectangle — right angles but unequal sides.
  • A triangle — different shape entirely.

Answer: A tilted square — same 4 sides, same 4 right angles.. Properties don't change when rotated. A tilted square is still a square.

GuruMulti-step reasoning.

Why do parallel lines never meet?

  • Because they are always the same distance apart — that distance never changes.
  • Because they are straight.
  • Because they were drawn that way.
  • Because angles are equal.

Answer: Because they are always the same distance apart — that distance never changes.. Parallel = equidistant. Equal distance means they never converge.
